Zermatt Utah (aka Zermatt Resort) in Midway, Utah - just minutes from Park City - is seeking qualified, experienced Banquet Cooks to fill full-time, part-time, on call & internship positions. Banquet Cooks are responsible for assisting with all aspects of food preparation (both buffets & plated meals) and presentation for banquets & special events, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with standard recipes and presentations established by the Chef, as indicated on the BEOs. The Banquet Cook must maintain a clean and sanitary culinary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes. This position will also assist other cooks with preparation and set up for the restaurants, as needed. Will also perform banquet and kitchen line functions as directed by the Executive or Sous Chef. Previous culinary experience required, and previous banquet/restaurant cooking experience strongly preferred. Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Utah food handler permit. Must be able to stand, bend & lift for extended periods of time. Must be able to perform all essential functions of this position in an efficient, professional manner. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have a flexible schedule & be willing & able to work mornings, evenings, weekends (including Sundays) & holidays, as needed.
